HOUSTON, Texas — Isabelle Chevalier scored a game-high 25 points, but the University of Dallas women's basketball team came up just short in a 66–62 loss to St. Thomas (TX) on Friday night at the Jerabeck Activity and Athletic Center.
Dallas led at halftime behind an efficient first half from Chevalier, who shot 10-of-16 from the field, but St. Thomas edged ahead in the second half. Hailey Hawthorne added eight points and five rebounds for the Crusaders, who shot 47.1 percent overall but were limited to 10 points in each of the final two quarters.
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Chevalier led Dallas again with 16 points, but Colorado College pulled away for a 74–49 victory on Sunday afternoon at Reid Arena.
The Crusaders struggled offensively early and trailed 36–23 at halftime. Hailey Hawthorne finished with eight points, while Gabriella Barrera added seven for UDallas. Colorado College used a strong third quarter to extend its lead and remained unbeaten in conference play.
