IRVING, Texas — Thomas Fleming scored a team-high 15 points, but the University of Dallas men's basketball team dropped a 75-55 game to LeTourneau on Friday night at the Maher Athletic Center.
Dallas trailed just 37-36 at halftime after an efficient first-half shooting performance, but LeTourneau pulled away in the second half behind a strong offensive stretch. Fleming knocked down three three-pointers to lead the Crusaders, while Kris Burgan added 10 points and seven rebounds. UDallas shot 43.2 percent from the field but was limited to five made field goals in the second half, as the visitors outscored Dallas 38-19 after the break.
IRVING, Texas — Thomas Fleming poured in 19 points and Chandler Holmes added 17 as Dallas bounced back with a 68-63 victory over Centenary (LA) on Saturday afternoon at the Maher Athletic Center.
The Crusaders erased an 11-point halftime deficit with a heated second half, outscoring Centenary 43-27 after the break. Fleming added seven rebounds, while Kris Burgan recorded a double-double with nine points and 12 rebounds. Dallas shot 50 percent from the floor in the second half and used balanced scoring and strong interior play to secure the conference win.
