UDallas Men's Basketball Announces 2026-27 Schedule

IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas men's basketball program has announced its 2026-27 schedule, featuring a competitive non-conference slate, a Division I exhibition matchup and a full Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) schedule as the Crusaders prepare for another season under head coach Matt Grahn.

UDallas will officially open its campaign at home against Schreiner University on Nov. 13 inside the Maher Athletic Center. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. before the Crusaders hit the road for a series of early-season matchups.

Following the season opener, UDallas will travel to Georgetown, Texas, for a Nov. 15 contest against Southwestern University before heading west for a two-game California road trip. The Crusaders will face Caltech on Nov. 21 in Pasadena before traveling to Los Angeles for a matchup against Occidental College on Nov. 22.

The Crusaders will close November with an exhibition matchup against NCAA Division I opponent Abilene Christian University on Nov. 28 in Abilene, Texas.

December marks the beginning of SCAC competition as UDallas returns to the Maher Athletic Center for three consecutive conference matchups. The Crusaders will host Concordia University Texas on Dec. 4 at 7:30 p.m., followed by Texas Lutheran University on Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. and McMurry University on Dec. 9 at 7:30 p.m.

UDallas will then travel to Sherman, Texas, for a Dec. 18 conference matchup against Austin College before visiting Howard Payne University on Dec. 21 in Brownwood, Texas.

The Crusaders will close the calendar year at home against Luther College on Dec. 28, with tipoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m. inside the Maher Athletic Center.

The new year begins with a two-game conference road swing through Arkansas as UDallas faces Hendrix College on Jan. 2 in Conway, followed by the University of the Ozarks on Jan. 3 in Clarksville.

The Crusaders return to Irving for a pair of conference contests against Centenary College on Jan. 8 and LeTourneau University on Jan. 9 before heading back on the road to face Colorado College on Jan. 15 and the University of St. Thomas on Jan. 17.

UDallas will close January with three consecutive home games, welcoming Austin College on Jan. 23, Hendrix College on Jan. 29 and the University of the Ozarks on Jan. 30.

February opens with a road trip to Louisiana and East Texas as the Crusaders visit Centenary College on Feb. 5 and LeTourneau University on Feb. 6.

The Crusaders will then return to the Maher Athletic Center for their final home weekend of the regular season, hosting Colorado College on Feb. 12 at 7:30 p.m. and St. Thomas on Feb. 13 at 6 p.m.

UDallas concludes its regular-season schedule with a pair of conference road contests, traveling to Austin to face Concordia University Texas on Feb. 19 before closing the campaign against Texas Lutheran University in Seguin on Feb. 20.

The 2026-27 schedule features 26 contests, including one exhibition, with 12 games scheduled inside the Maher Athletic Center. The Crusaders will look to capitalize on their home opportunities while navigating a demanding road schedule that includes trips to California, Arkansas, Colorado and Louisiana.

UDallas enters the upcoming season following a 10-15 campaign in 2025-26, including a 6-10 mark in conference play. The Crusaders averaged 70.6 points per game last season while shooting 45.2 percent from the field and 37.1 percent from beyond the arc.

With a reshaped roster featuring several returning contributors and new additions, UDallas will look to build upon that offensive production while establishing greater consistency on both ends of the floor.

Senior guard Thomas Fleming headlines the returning group after averaging a team-high 18.6 points per game last season. Fellow senior Terrence Bryant, junior Chandler Holmes and sophomores Kris Burgan and Luke Paton provide additional experience as the Crusaders prepare for the upcoming campaign.

Picked to finish sixth in the SCAC preseason coaches' poll, UDallas enters the season looking to challenge expectations while continuing to develop chemistry and establish a competitive identity within the conference.

For Grahn and his staff, the upcoming schedule presents an opportunity to integrate new talent, build upon returning experience and position the Crusaders for a strong conference campaign.
