UDallas falls short in Home Finale

IRVING, Texas — The University of Dallas women's basketball team fell 62-46 to Schreiner University on Friday night at the Maher Athletic Center.

UDallas (4-19, 3-10 SCAC) opened the game with energy, taking a 13-10 lead after the first quarter and battling through four ties and four lead changes in a tightly contested first half. The Crusaders stayed within striking distance early before Schreiner used a strong second-half push to create separation.

The Mountaineers outscored UDallas 21-17 in the third quarter while shooting 53.8 percent in the period, then matched that output with another 21-point fourth quarter. UDallas shot 32.7 percent from the field and was limited to seven fourth-quarter points, while Schreiner finished at 38.9 percent overall and 41.2 percent from three-point range.

Top Performers – Game One

La'Aria Miller led UDallas with 11 points off the bench, adding two rebounds and a steal.
Adriana Medina scored nine points on 3-of-6 shooting, including two three-pointers.
Gabriella Barrera contributed nine points, four rebounds, and three assists.


IRVING, Texas — UDallas dropped a 60-30 decision to McMurry University on Saturday evening to conclude the weekend homestand.

The Crusaders (4-20, 3-11 SCAC) struggled offensively, shooting 17.2 percent from the field and 10.7 percent from beyond the arc. McMurry built a 29-10 halftime lead and controlled the interior with a 46-12 advantage in points in the paint, along with a 43-32 edge on the glass.

UDallas showed defensive resilience in the third quarter, holding McMurry to just six points in the frame, but could not overcome the early deficit. The War Hawks converted 18 points off turnovers and added 12 fast-break points to secure the win.

Top Performers – Game Two

Sarah Mirza paced UDallas with nine points off the bench, going 3-of-9 from the floor and 2-of-2 at the line.
Adriana Medina added seven points and two rebounds.
La'Aria Miller recorded six points and four rebounds.
